EPFO has opened a special 6‑month window under the Employees’ Enrolment Scheme 2025 to regularise left‑out employees who joined your establishment between 01.07.2017 and 31.10.2025 but were not enrolled in EPF.
Key highlights of EES‑2025:
Scheme period: 1 November 2025 to 30 April 2026.
. Waiver of employee PF share for past period, if not deducted from wages.
. Only nominal penal damages of ₹100 per establishment are payable.
. No suo motu action by EPFO for past non‑enrolment during the scheme period, if declarations are filed correctly.
. Linkage with Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana for additional incentives to eligible new EPFO members.
. All contractors are advised to review their records and immediately declare and enrol all eligible employees through the EPFO portal within the scheme period to avoid future interest, damages and legal action.
